Solar Bugs.  We will be exploring and learning about green energy, solar energy, circuits, and insects. Participants will be able to make one solar bug. After the solar bugs are assembled and all our circuits are working properly. We will be able to see how they move across different landscapes.

The Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub Mobile Makerspace brings STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) supplies, tools, and technology to provide students, communities, and schools in Linn and Benton counties with hands-on building, tinkering, and learning experiences. Our mission is to help students develop a “maker mindset.”

Library manners expected. No childcare provided. This event is free. For more information, please call the Brownsville Library at 541-466-5454.
